Quartet Plus (rus. Квартет плюс) is the sixty-eighth episode of the third season of the Masha and the Bear series, which was released on 22 December 2017.
Summary[]
Bear's Dad has come over to visit Bear. They are making music , which Masha dances to. Eventually , Masha goes into Bear's House and sees all this. She makes a first impression on Bear's Dad , much to the dismay of Bear. Father Bear and Masha look through a photo album of Bear when he was young (which Masha thinks is cute). Eventually they find a page with Father Bear and three cubs playing music. The cubs consisted of Bear , his childhood rival Rival Bear and his childhood friend Lady Bear. Then the happy vibe dissappears long after Masha asks if the bears were a quartet , mainly because once she asked , Father Bear shot a menacing glare at Bear and Black bear looked at the floor in shame. Then the next few pages in the album revealed why the bears reacted the way they did. Bear and Black Bear fought while they were doing these rehearsals and both got sent to a corner of the room with a stinging butt. They never got to perform because of the colliding tempers and egos. Soon after they talk about rehearsals , the other two members of the quartet show up at the door and greet Father Bear accordingly. Then Masha gives the bears the idea of trying to rehearse their piece again like they did when they were cubs. All three bears agreed to do it and Masha agreed to be the audience. So they tried to play their piece in three different styles - Classical , Pop and Hawaiian. None of them work ; Black Bear and Bear fight every single time. The main reason is Black Bear is attracted to Female Bear and also attracted to mocking the fur off of Bear , causing Bear to flip out. Third time lucky? No such thing in this case. Is there any hope left in this quartet? Can Bear and Black Bear put their differences aside and complete the song? Or will Masha have to do something drastic???
